Job Title: Windows Server Solution Architect

Location: Hybrid – Leuven and Remote

Languages: Fluent Dutch & English

Contract Type:3 months Freelance + extensions

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Windows Server Solution Architectto join our client that is in the semi-conductor industry.

Responsibilities:

• Design new solutions and enhance existing Windows infrastructures.

• Provide technical expertise and support for architectural decisions, collaborating with enterprise architects and other teams.

• Document and standardize designs to simplify future implementations.

Implementation and Management:

• Lead the implementation of new systems and upgrades in the Windows environment.

• Optimize the performance, availability, security and reliability of Windows systems.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal guidelines.

Experience:

• Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022).

• Active Directory (management and migrations).

• Virtualization platforms such as VMware or AHV.

• Storage solutions and integration with Windows environments.

• Database systems, including SQL and Oracle. (optional)

• Automation and configuration management (e.g., PowerShell, Ansible).

• Knowledge of network protocols and services (DNS, DHCP, LDAP, etc.).

• Experience in designing and managing high-availability and failover solutions.

• Strong focus on IT security and compliance: experience with hardening, patch management, and auditing tools.
