Within Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine Supply Chain, MSAT Center of Excellence, we are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join the team as a Senior Manager for Workforce & Business Planning.

In this role, you will be coordinating workforce planning initiatives and driving business planning strategies to ensure the efficient and effective operations of our organization. You will be an integral member of a global business management team that supports 800+ professionals, scientists, and engineers, across 48 locations and 18 countries. We are open to considering this global role to be based at any J&J Innovative Medicine location.

We would like a strong leader that can deal with the complexity of global and site based technical teams to lead workforce development and business planning aligned to evolving organization and business needs.

  • Be a catalyst to empower strategic decision making, drive resource planning and allocation, partnering with HR and Extended workforce on a build, buy, borrow strategy while implementing processes to govern resource prioritization.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement workforce planning strategies to meet the organization’s current and future talent needs aligned with MSAT Strategic Workforce Planning (SWFP) and Workforce of the Future.

Promote a culture to capture and enhance key technical and business capabilities, using our J&J tools, including but not limited to Pathfinder, MSAT Resource Management database and other HR systems.

Empower Senior Leaders by shaping the processes and tools required to enable informed decisions on headcount, budget and financial strategies.

Conduct regular workforce forecasting to assess staffing needs and support prioritization and enable optimizing resources.

Coordinate with J&J Learn, other departments, individuals and external companies for development program selection and execution.

Drive a Credo based culture, coach/develop all customers and encourage all in the organization.

Capture, evaluate, monitor, and promote the value being provided.

Qualifications

Qualifications / Experience

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in a business and/or pharmaceutical (manufacturing / technical / supply chain) environment is required.
  • Demonstrated results using data analytics to empower decision making and drive performance management.
  • Knowledge of training system management, understand and use development approaches and tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in resource prioritization and capacity planning
  • High intellectual curiosity to challenge the status quo, with an ability to cultivate an inclusive & collaborative culture.
  • Strong social skills, standout colleague, influencing without authority, setting priorities and strong demonstrated partner management and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and operate with poise and integrity in a complex, high-profile, and constantly evolving environment.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, additional languages would be a significant advantage.
  • This position may require up to 20% domestic and international travel.
