In this role, you will report directly to the Senior Business Manager Water EMEA
Your primary objective will be to project manage the certification process from initial application through to final certification and listing for each of your clients. You will achieve this by working proactively, in collaboration with various departments such as the technical review team, the laboratory and sales team.
You will be the primary point of contact for clients keeping them informed of the progress of their application. You will educate the client so that all necessary information is received to ensure that the process of certification can as efficient as possible whilst managing client expectations.
Your responsibilities will include
- Manage accounts with medium impact and/or complexity
- Manage customer account scope, audits, deliverable, timelines, services levels, quotes
- Identify and provide input to process improvement opportunities
- Provide customer education/consultation on standards, regulations or audit process
- Work in tandem with Sales and Program leaders to maximize growth opportunities
- Help assure clients’ compliance with certification requirements and timely support to achieve certification
- Accountable for quotes and the client’s post-sale experience from implementation, adoption through expansion
- Nurture client relationships
- Support accounts payable in resolving client payment issues
- Internal coordination with all stakeholders (business units, lab, technical reviewers, etc.) and some third parties.
- Identify and procure new business or cross-selling opportunities with assigned customer
- Develop client-specific solutions based on client needs
- Trend analysis to maintain good understanding of technologies used in assigned market area as well as to identify areas of improvement
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical or Science related role preferred, or equivalent experience
- Whilst experience in the certification industry is not mandatory you should be able to demonstrate that you have worked in a technical environment and have the ability, to apply technical knowledge to your working environment.
- Experience in customer facing roles
- Ability to manage customer accounts

- Hybrid role 3 days office (Belgium) max 2 days home.
- Training on certification standards and processes will be provided
