We are looking for an accountant for a reknown company in Genk.
  • Responsible for the complete and timely invoicing of delivered goods and services
  • Daily booking of all cash receipts and clearing of the debtor accounts
  • Credit management
  • Follow up the debtors in close cooperation with the sales department
  • Preparing and analyzing the overdue reporting
  • Dunning the customers
  • Co-responsible for the management of credit risk
  • Assistance with and preparation of the month-end closings
  • Checking and managing the customer master data for completeness and correctness, finding and correcting differences and inaccuracies and managing changes
  • Key User of credit management tool: automation and digitization processes within the A/R area
  • Proactively contribute to the realization of improvement processes in the own department
  • Make adjustments in the SAP system
  • Assisting in external audit processes
  • Timely processing of incoming invoices, both for the operational costs (opex) and for the investments (capex)
  • Review of incoming invoices (both digital and on paper)
  • Sorting of invoices according to priority
  • Processing invoices
  • Distribution of invoices for approval using workflow tool
  • Follow-up of invoices in the approval flow
  • Assistance with and preparation of the month-end closings
  • Timely processing of incoming invoices
  • Preparing overviews "invoices to be received"
  • Checking and managing the suppliers master data for completeness and correctness, finding and correcting differences and inaccuracies and managing changes
  • Key User of Recomatics (document flow system): automation and digitization processes within the A / P area
  • Proactively contribute to the realization of improvement processes in the own department
  • Make adjustments in the SAP system
  • Assisting in external audit processes
  • Being a backup for the 2nd A/P Accountant who is responsible for the PR (product related) spend
