Your role as an AP/AR Accounting Coordinator :

You will manage the accounting payable (AP) and receivable (AR) processes A-Z. You’ll also assist the tax manager on tax related tasks. Reporting to the Head of Accounting, you’ll work closely with all internal stakeholders and develop a good contact with external partners. You will take initiatives to guide AP/AR colleagues, optimize processes, and provide cross-functional support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily processing of (digital) supplier invoices and bank statements.
  • Creation and follow-up of customer/supplier accounts.
  • Processing of payments and SEPA DD files.
  • Actively contribute to an efficient credit collection process.
  • Act as point of contact for bank-related operational issues.
  • Assist in VAT and other tax declarations.
  • Provide leadership within the AP/AR team, taking initiatives to improve processes and ensure continuity of work.

Your profile:

  • Accounting degree with minimum of 3+ years in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to take initiative and support colleagues within the AP/AR team.
  • Experience working with complex systems and in international contexts.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and accounting software (experience with NAV and SAP is a plus).
  • Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
  • Proactive, efficient, and organized with strong prioritization and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of working independently and delivering high-quality work.
