A multinational specialized in the farming sector is currently looking to hire an Accounting Manager to join their office in the Flemish-Brabant.

A managerial role in a growing company with perspective to evolve has just become available in the Flemish Brabant as an Accounting Manager. Reporting to the Head of Finance & Control, you will have an essential role in leading the Accounting team.

Your main responsibilities as the new Accounting Manager will include:

  • For internal & external audits, tax reporting and all kind of audits you lead the team of Accountants to have an adequate level of quality and collaboration with these internal or external parties
  • Collaborate proactively with all finance departments during month-end, quarter and year-end closings and during month-end, quarter and year-end internal and external audits
  • Contribute fully to the continuous improvement of the company’s performance as a member of the financial management team
  • Support the country budget and forecast information process
  • Produce and update the country budget and forecast
  • Ensure accuracy of budgets and forecasts

About you:

  • You have a degree in Economics or Finance
  • You have at least 10 years’ relevant experience in a similar role
  • You are fluent in English and Dutch
  • You have leadership, development, and team management skills
  • You have a thorough knowledge and technical mastery of financial and administrative processes
  • You are familiar with local and international legal, tax and government requirements
  • You have knowledge of project management methodology
