Job Purpose and Impact

The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to an individual, a small team or department. In this role, you will coordinate, integrate and implement assigned administrative or staff functions. This individual must be confident, caring, and professional in the way they interact with others.

Key Accountabilities
  • Perform routine administrative work within established procedures.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, diaries.
  • Coordinate international travel in a timely manner, generate visas, passport management, document management and handle expense reports
  • Work collaboratively with other assistants in Mechelen and across the organization. Build a strong network with administrative positions throughout Cargill.
  • Manage internal team communication tools (SharePoint, MS Teams Site, OneNote).
  • Enter routine data into standard forms and templates and archive paper and electronic documents.
  • Handle basic clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Assist in town halls and leadership briefings.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
  • Advanced Microsoft Office experience.
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch and French is an asset.
