For one of our client based in Brussels, we are currently looking for a Senior Windows Administrator.

Responsibilities

Installation, configuration and upgrade of Windows servers and system software.
Installation, configuration and management of infrastructure services such as backups.
Technical support of all Windows server issues.
Management of system backups, security, integrity, reliability, availability, and disaster recovery.
Establish standards for server configuration, usage, and management.
Development of technology standards and establishment of performance guidelines to support daily operations and strategic objectives of server infrastructure.
Capacity planning to ensure sufficient resources to meet business requirements.

Profile

5 to 10 years of experience as Windows Administrator
You have a broad expertise in different infrastructures areas
You are pragmatic and flexible
You have a strong expertise in either French and/or Dutch and good expertise in English

Technical skills

Strong knowledge of Windows 10, Windows Server 2016/2019, Active directory domain services, Microsoft KPI’s
Knowledge of Microsoft 3-tier architecture
Configuration of Windows server services including DNS, NTP, Remote Desktop services (RDS), volume management, file and printer sharing, high availability, clustering, backup and system recovery
Knowledge of Windows security mechanisms, identification and implementation of GPOs to strengthen the security of systems (hardening). Securing SMB/CIFS, configuration of Windows Defender Credential Guard, detection of suspicious activities.
Knowledge of WSUS and SCCM to apply security updates and patches.
Having knowledge of PowerShell
Be able to troubleshoot Windows performance and Windows security issues

Offer
