Fresenius Medical Care aims to continuously improve the quality of life of patients with kidney disease by offering innovative products and treatment concepts of the highest quality.

We are looking for an Application Specialist HOME who is responsible for assuring that HOME products and services sold are fully utilized by the clients in Belgium and Luxembourg and are delivering the value that was outlined in the sales process. In this job, you are providing a key communications link to the customer by using technical knowledge of products, product availability and both your internal and external network of different stakeholders. In this role, you report to the Head of Sales Belgium Luxembourg.

Your assignments

HOME product/service demos and information

• Demonstrates the most valuable features/attributes of the product/service and link them to the customer’s key challenges;
• Provide advanced product/service information and respond to complex customer questions about the product/service;
• Supports the implementation of sales tactics and strategies by providing technical expertise and supporting with product and market knowledge.

Customer relationship management/account management

• Develop and implement a customer contact and action plan to communicate product launches and engage the customers in Belgium and Luxembourg in relevant sales campaigns in close exchange with Account Managers;
• Own the contact and foster their relationship with selected non-prioritized accounts, performing as account manager and discharging them from certain workload;
• Support Account Managers on their account visits in Belgium and Luxembourg with expert insights / training / showing new services and products in the area of HOME.

Internal client relationship management

• Build effective working relationships within the internal client organization and contribute to the management of the partnering relationship, delivering high-quality professional services within established routines or as part of an agreed project

Sell customer propositions

• Identify the solutions that best meet the customer’s stated needs, explain the selection to the customer, and invite the customer to make a purchase at the standard price/terms and conditions of sale.

Profile

• Academic degree or equivalent diploma in relevant subject matter;
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in application support;
• Clinical and technical experience with well-recognized reputation in the HOME area;
• Fluent knowledge of Dutch and French (speaking, presenting, writing, reading);
• Understand basics of e-health, data security and related topics;
• Strengthens customer connections, builds customer loyalty and masters service conversations are characteristics that fit you;
• Customer focus, action oriented, decision quality and being resilient are personal competencies that are required for the job.
