Job Description

ENGIBEX is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Automotive Engineer to play a pivotal role in supporting various projects, contributing your expertise to design, development, and testing of automotive components and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • CAD modelling: Creating 3D models of vehicles or components using design software.
  • Component testing: Designing and conducting tests to ensure components meet specifications.
  • Engineering analysis: Conducting simulations to evaluate the performance, safety, and efficiency of designs.
  • Staying updated on industry trends, investigating new materials and technologies.
  • Take ownership of discussions with suppliers to optimize the design of components for manufacturing.
  • Support during internal and external coordination meetings to drive effective communication and project progress.

Profile / Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
  • Knowledge of engineering mathematics and mechanics, including statics, vehicle dynamics and component design.
  • Experience with engineering analysis tools (e.g., FEA, CFD).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to identify and resolve technical challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Any knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus.
