Function:

As a data-driven professional in the Business Analytics & Insights team, you will help to lay the foundations of our business intelligence and you will convert your valuable analyses into concrete solutions. The BI Solutions team designs and develops innovative BI products and solutions, analyses data and makes them clear to our partners. An informative job with much room for initiative and instructive collaboration! And you know what? We want you to be part of our team real soon!

What will you do concretely?

• You will handle BI assignments end-to-end, make agreements with the partner, assess the required resources, coordinate and monitor everything up to the delivery to the end user.
• You gather the needs of the partner and translate them into an efficient technical solution by means of a functional analysis. You regularly consult with the partner. The partner’s needs can range from adaptations or expansions of the data in the datawarehouse and corresponding solutions to requests for completely new things.
• You will draw up test scenarios and carry out the necessary tests on the datawarehouse. You will coordinate the user acceptance tests.
• You will design and develop the business layer and visualisations. Furthermore, you will test everything in collaboration with the partner.
• In this job, you often work with other specialists such as the data management team, information stewards, business analysts and data scientists.

You will work in Halle and can work 2 days a week in one of our regional offices.

Profile:

• Knowledge and experience - You have a bachelor or master degree in information management for example, or you have equivalent knowledge by experience. Other than this basis, you have 5 years experience in a similar position. You can prove knowledge of requirements analyses, agile working, user experience, SQL, data models and flows and (dimensional) modelling.
• Customer-oriented and communicative - At BI, you are the contact for our partners. You can communicate well, you can establish contacts easily and you have good diplomatic skills. You love to share knowledge and expertise. You can easily pick up on needs with your partners and you regularly consult with them. You actively look for the best solution for your partner and Colruyt Group.
• Analytical and conceptual - You easily recognise parts to be dealt with in a complex given and you can distinguish cause and effect. Furthermore, you quickly gain insight in complex matters and you can put this information in a broader perspective.
• Quality first - You have an end-to-end mentality and you always seek the highest quality in what you deliver. You think in terms of solutions and you monitor the balance between your partner’s wishes and optimisations that surface during the process.
• Languages - In an IT environment, English is often the official language. So you are fluent in English and Dutch and you can express yourself in French.
