Your Role

Due to our growing Contract Logistics business, we are looking for highly motivated talent to join our controlling team. For our Pharma business in Liège, we are hiring a controller to primarily manage the start-up and roll-out of a new operation, in a very dynamic and capital intensive environment. In addition, you will be part of the business controlling team for Campus Kempen. As a Business Controller, you will be working together with the site management team and report to the Group Controller.

Your Responsibilities

  • Pro-actively support the business with financial and operational analysis;
  • Discuss improvements with various stakeholders in order to increase the profitability and productivity;
  • Challenge & defend business cases to justify investments;
  • Analyse, challenge & validate (new) customer contracts;
  • Responsible for month and year end closing;
  • Responsible for the quarterly forecasting & yearly budgeting process of the branch;
  • Liaison with Head Office accounting department, ensuring all queries are promptly solved;
  • Other ad-hoc tasks, as required.
  • University degree in Finance, and at least 3 years of experience, either in a similar role (logistics/production environment) or in audit/consulting;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Comprehension of logistics cost systems & performance follow-up;
  • Strong ability with MS office;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in Dutch & English is key. Proficiency in French language is an extra asset;
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with all levels of the organization;
  • Strongly business orientated, with a solid personality to challenge data, ensure correct understanding, come to an opinion and present the result of the analysis in an independent way;
  • Strike the balance between the details and the essence, ability to synthetize, structured approach.
