For a manufacturing company located in Dendermonde, we are looking for a Business Controller. Working in tandem with the Group Controller, you will partner with the Purchase and Project organization whilst supporting them.

Your main responsibitlities as Business Controller:

  • Assist with the preparation of a qualitative, well-founded and transparent budget, strategic plan and forecast;
  • Analyse the monthly results vs. the budget;
  • Responsible for a correct and timely reporting;
  • Prepare financial reports and analyses;
  • Follow up incoming and outgoing payments, commissions and purchase;
  • Create the monthly performance plan and take action if necessary;
  • Assist with the optimisation of internal processes and implementing new systems;
  • Think along with the business responsible for financial issues;
  • Handling AD hoc projects;
  • Making an estimate of possible risks and opportunities that can influence the result.

As a Business Controller you are an independent thinker, acting alone and partnering and supporting business partners from different background. You are flexible, communicative and take initiative when needed.

  • Academic Qualification: Bachelor / Master
  • Working experience: 3-6years (preferably in business controlling)
  • Expertise/Skills: IT skills, excel (power query)/ERP-software (SAP)
  • Language skills: English, Dutch
