Then the position of Business Controller at Miele is your next career step! In this position, you are the key figure between finance and the other business units. You will be working in a diverse team of 4 people, with a manager who is committed to your talents and will prepare you for a great career within Miele.

What you will be doing:

• Making insightful analyses concerning profitability, return on investment.
• Preparing budgets, forecasts and variance analyses.
• Challenging the budgets of financial and non-financial processes.
• Ensuring correct financial results in various business-related projects.
• Investigating trends in results and making improvement proposals where necessary and/or possible.
• Working closely together with your own team as well as with colleagues from accounting and other business units (e.g. sales & marketing, logistics, services, purchasing).
• You will therefore not only have a supporting task but will also play an important role in optimizing financial processes (within the boundaries of the corporate policies).

The Business Controller we are looking for:

• Has a Master’s degree in an economic or financial direction.
• Has about 7 years of experience as Sales/Financial Analyst or Financial/Business Controller.
• Has an analytical and critical approach and can correctly interpret and quickly process information.
• Has excellent command of Excel (pivot tables, macros and power pivots) and good use of ERP packages and BI (Business Intelligence) for reporting.
• Can easily gain insight into the existing business processes and challenge these where necessary.
• Is well organized and result oriented, takes initiative and can set priorities
• Communicates clearly (in DU/FR/ENG) and brings a message in a non-technical but concrete way.
