Our colleagues in the finance team are looking for a newBusiness Controller.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Review, improve & document processes:
    • Closing activities: monthly / quarterly / yearly, pre-closing, systems reconciliation, B/S reconciliation, S404 Controls, else
    • S&OP cycle: develop role of local finance representative during cycle, act as finance support for rest of local team
  • Scope of responsibilities: P&L from Gross Sales (GSV) to Net Sales (NSV). Lead Sales Finance elements to improve profitability & drive efficiencies;
  • Lead & provide visibility on Trade Investments (i.e., monthly review, forecast, identify key trends) and make recommendations.
  • Oversee accounting & controls of all trade allowances to ensure compliance with Corporate Accounting Policies;
  • Gatekeeper for trade investment management system (i.e., K-Tie based on Qlik technology);
  • You will interface with local team based in Belgium / the Netherlands (i.e., Finance, Sales, Sales Support, Activation, RGM) but also with GBS and Regional HQ;

  • Education
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field AND 6+ years post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or Finance work experience
    • OR Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
    • OR equivalent experience.

  • Additional or Preferred Qualifications
    • 1+ year(s) experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles.
    • 1+ year(s) work experience in matrix-based organization.
    • 1+ year(s) work experience in FMCG industry.
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Association of Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA) or equivalent certification.
