The position
As Business Development Manager, you will report directly to the Head Of International Business Development.
PAG/Sector Group tasks:
- Act as the first point of contact for all business development-related enquiries regarding the group.
- Support activities aimed at targeting potential clients or further developing existing clients of the group.
- Coordinate the group to increase international work and raise the group profile.
- Provide hands on support to create and deliver the business plans for the group (including budgeting and reporting).
- Manage the development and execution of marketing and thought leadership campaigns for the group.
- Compile directory and awards submissions for the group.
- Support the planning, program creation and execution of events for the group with support of events management.
- Promote the group internally and externally via internal communications and press work in collaboration with the CMS communications team.
Other tasks
- Manage and contribute to multi-jurisdictional pitches and panels.
- Contribute to CMS-wide business development and marketing initiatives as required.
- Contribute to event calendars, activity forecasts, progress and other regular reports.
- Establish relationships with key industry bodies/organisations
- Act as link between local and international BD team.
- Undertake other tasks as requested by the Head of International Business Development.
Profile
- Graduate or equivalent level qualification.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Creative, output driven, results orientated.
- Proactive approach. Able to manage self and workload and set priorities in an environment with multiple and conflicting interests.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to travel and to work out-of-hours.
- Ability to communicate with a variety of nationalities.
- Team worker with good time-management capability.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
