Benvitec Engineering Plastics:

Benvitec is an innovative environmental solutions company with plastic machining and construction businesses as well as a demisting solutions business. These latter form the Engineering Plastics unit for which we are seeking to fill the new position of Business Development Manager.

We are located in Beringen, Belgium.

The plastic processing department at Benvitec specializes in machining plastic materials. We mill, turn, weld, saw, bend, cut, and bond plastic sheets, rods, and blocks to create highly specific custom products.We also design, manufacture, and install high-quality plastic structures for a wide range of industrial applications. We offer a broad selection of tailored solutions, including tanks, piping and gas scrubbers.

Description job opening:

The ideal candidate will conduct research online and by telephone to identify new leads and start initiatives to generate new business opportunities for the company.

The Business Development Manager develops insight into our target customers in certain sectors, conducts market research, generates potential partners and representatives and supports the team to turn new opportunities into orders. He/she helps build the pricing strategy, market approach and follows up on new sales opportunities in the market. He/she is the point of contact for new customers, generates and follows up on leads.

We have an experienced team that addresses the market on a daily basis, that will support you with technical knowledge, but above all we need a breath of fresh air with full focus on developing new markets and customers.

Qualifications

· The candidate will have a perfect work ethic, be focused, goal-oriented and have strong communication skills.

· They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 - 5 years’ prior industry related business development experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Fluent in French, Dutch and English
