Business Process Specialist

Communicative connecter with strong business acumen

Role

• As a Business Process Specialist you are the spider in the web of a multidisciplinary team of experts in business intelligence, business process improvement and financial controlling.
• Your mission is to support the business through data insights and digitization projects. As a true “Business Partner” you translate the business needs into concrete action plans and you concisely present your insights to them. In this way you contribute to an improved sales performance, and thus also an optimal customer satisfaction.
• You start from meetings with you internal customer (sales), in which you make an in-depth analysis of the problems and needs.
• You synthesize, prioritize, draw up project plans and mobilize the experts in function of the objectives. More concrete, projects can consist of: making a market analysis in function of business cases, mapping the cost structure of business activities, digitizing business processes, etc.
• By keeping an overview during the progress of the projects, you make timely adjustments where necessary and you support the experts with input from the business.
• You translate the project outcomes towards coherent stories. You formulate substantiated decisions and advice, and you present your insights in an animated manner.

Profile

• You have a master’s degree in economics or a scientific orientation: Business Engineer, Bio Engineer,…, or equivalent through experience.
• You have at least 3 years of work experience in a business-oriented role. A first experience as a consultant is a great asset.
• You are communicative and you connect easily. You are spontaneous and you know how to make people enthusiastic.
• You have great listening skills and empathy.
• You are analytical and data-driven. You make syntheses from a large amount of data, and you can formulate concise decisions.
• You think in terms of processes and you have experience in managing projects.
• You are strong in presenting and convincing, and you have a solid affinity with sales, marketing and finance.
