Job Purpose and Impact

The Business Process Standardization Specialist contributes by supporting the design, standardization and management of processes. Key is to enable Cargill to become best in class in this area through training and coaching. In this role, you will be introduced to an unique end-to-end view of the organization through a win-win situation; by teaching our experts process design, you will gain insights into their fields. Based on that you will create proposals on how we can work in a standardized manner on our sites. To achieve this, you will be applying our ‘Continues Improvement’ methodology. This methodology includes training our people in the supporting Lean tools like standardized work and problem solving, and coach our organization in process thinking. Working in a global organization brings new challenges to process standardization. Achieving process standardization in this environment includes developing a strong process culture, optimized solutions and a sustained execution. Are you up for the task?

We are looking for 3 candidates with different language capabilities. One fluent in Dutch, one fluent in French, and one fluent in German. Fluency in English is required for all 3 positions.

Key Accountabilities
  • Partner with superusers, stakeholders and data technology teams to support design, standardization and management of processes and support technology enabling business processes to meet growth and value driving goals.
  • Collaborate with global and local business process owners to implement and support design, standardization and management driving towards global process standardization.
  • Collaborate, train and coach key superusers, stakeholders and peers to find the smartest solution to the problems we face in our daily work.
  • Execute business process initiatives that drive value creation for the business, assuring objectives are attained and sustained while creating insight for both big projects and functional leadership.
  • Provide support as a consultant for business partners and superusers related to big projects and on-site problems including problem solving, process design, training and overall change management based on our ‘Continues Improvement’ methodology.
  • Conduct (community)meetings, ‘go Gemba’ to see how the process is working, collect data, analyse information and perform related tasks to manage process standardization and optimization change.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Min 5 year leadership experience
  • Facilitation and coaching skills
  • Proven track record in delivery of change management and understanding of the HOW of the delivery
Preferred Qualifications
  • Continuous Improvement methodology and skills including Lean
  • General understanding of how enterprise resource planning, business process management, customer relationship management and business intelligence tools operate
  • Knowledge of business process modelling and relevant tool(s)
  • Knowledge of organizational change and process design, process standardization and process management
  • Creative mind that goes for win-win solutions that ensures a strategy and approach with a minimal impact to the business and end users
