    Bexco is a leading European manufacturer of precision-engineered synthetic mooring, towing and lifting ropes for offshore, marine and industrial applications.

    Today, Bexco serves the world’s largest oil majors, engineering and procurement companies, ship and tug owners by designing and producing made-to-measure fiber rope at its main factory in Hamme, Belgium as well as at its quayside manufacturing facility in Antwerp.

    Job Description

    To sustain their growth, they are looking for a Chief Financial Officer, part of the Executive committee and directly reporting to the CEO, who will be responsible for:
    • Leading by example a team of 4 people, including Finance, IT & HR
    • Accounting: General ledger, analytical accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial
    • All legal obligations: Statutory reporting, VAT & Tax
    • Coordination of annual budgets, business cases, business plans, overall corporate planning supporting the goals, objectives and strategy of the company
    • Management reporting including multidimensional profitability analysis as well as variance analysis, including reporting to the board
    • Cost accounting: standard product costing, inventory valuation
    • ERP and management information systems etc,
    • Financial follow up on projects: working capital, payment milestones, bonds, revenue recognition etc.
    • Contacts with banks, audit, tax etc.
    • HRM


    The Successful Applicant
    • Master degree
    • Extensive experience in financial management
    • In-depth knowledge of product costing in a production environment
    • Experience in implementing ERP systems in a production environment
    • Experience in HR related matters (administration, legislation, …)
    • Understanding board and family dynamics
    • Fluent, both spoken and written in Dutch & English
    • Energetic, highly engaged and open minded
    • Open and honest team communicator
    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Hands-on approach
    • Result and goal oriented
