EENA is looking for a Communications Assistant to support its activities. S/he plays an important role in building a positive reputation for the organisation by communicating effectively to EENA’s community. S/he is involved in contributing to EENA’s ‘output’ of expertise, including documents, newsletters, case studies, articles and policy work.

The Communications Assistant works in close collaboration with and reports to the Communications and Press Manager.

KEY MISSIONS

  • Support the drafting and design of EENA’s publications, including press releases, mailings, newsletters, press articles, blog posts, reports, cases studies
  • Support the management of EENA’s social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube)
  • Conception and production of EENA annual event’s materials such event booklet, roll-up and banners
  • Contribute to the organisation of EENA’s annual conference, exhibition and 112 Awards Ceremony (communication, press, selection of awardees, relationships with awardees, scenario of the ceremony)
  • Contribute to developing ad hoc campaigns to support EENA’s objectives
  • Contribute to EENA’s website management.

SKILLS

  • Native or near native English, with excellent writing skills
  • Good knowledge of other EU languages is a plus

Digital skills a strong plus:

  • Graphic skills (Adobe Suite, in particular InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator);
  • Experienced use of Content Management Systems (EENA uses Wordpress);
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc).
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Privacy and GDPR: The successful applicant will receive training on privacy and GDPR.
