The DBT Communications Manager will support this transformation globally, working with the Digital Care Transformation (DCT) team, which is focused on digital platforms to create new – or modify existing – business processes, culture and customer experiences to meet changing business and healthcare market requirements.

In this role, the manager will work closely with the Global DBT Communications Director and the DCT team to execute on internal and external strategies and tactics that bring our DBT journey to life and engage key stakeholders. This role is responsible for a range of objectives and will work collaboratively across global communications, talent, our business unit teams, and local teams.

Role Requirements:
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in Brand Communications, digital communications, or PR, Public Relations and/or related field. Agency or corporate in-house experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • Media relations experience, required.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, required.
  • Experience in internal communications, preferred.
  • Strong project management experience, preferred.
  • Strategic thinker able to develop and execute communications plans to achieve business goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across multiple functions to deliver results.
  • Solutions-oriented problem solver, capable of bringing different stakeholders to the table to find a path forward.
  • Experience managing day-to-day execution of content on multiple channels across multiple geographies.
  • Agile and adaptable work style.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, insatiable curiosity, and an established track record of hard work and dedication to results.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Primary Responsibilities (not limited to):
  • Implements DBT communications strategies including but not limited to thought leadership, public relations, internal education and change implementation
  • Works across immunology and neurology to discover, curate and share compelling stories about our DBT journey
  • Aligns different DCT workstream communications initiatives with the global DBT communications strategy, providing counsel and consistency across functions and geographies
  • Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders (globally and locally) to ensure DBT key messages are pulled through across the business with consistency
  • Supports media relations and public relations strategies related to DBT including pitching, media prep, speaking opportunities, and key message and Q&A development
  • Writes content for internal and external channels related to DBT, including press materials, thought leadership content, social and web content, newsletters, and more
  • Develops communications resources on DBT for internal stakeholders to enable effective pull-through of our evolution
  • Supports measurement and reporting on DBT communications initiatives
  • Provides project management support to DBT Communications Director and broader DCT team as it relates to communications initiatives to ensure effective and timely execution
