A global leader in smart device innovation is seeking a Contactless Technology Standards Expert to drive NFC and RFID standardization at the highest levels. This long-term consultancy role offers the chance to shape international standards (ISO, IEC, NFC Forum, ECMA) and collaborate with industry leaders across Europe.

The Role

  • Represent the company in global standards bodies, influencing NFC and contactless technology evolution.
  • Provide expert insights on European NFC standards, industry trends, and regulatory developments.
  • Work closely with leading partners and internal teams to drive innovation and commercial adoption of next-gen NFC solutions.
  • Deliver high-quality reports, strategic recommendations, and technical contributions for international standardization efforts.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in NFC, RFID, or short-range communication technologies.
  • Strong background in international standards (ISO, IEC, NFC Forum, ECMA).
  • Experience in product development, testing, or certification is a plus.
  • Excellent technical insight, publication/IPR experience, and fluent English for global collaboration.
