Summary:

As Corporate Finance & Investor Relations associate you hold a key position at Group level of Destiny, with exposure to senior management & shareholders.

Your key responsibilities will consist of:

Investor relations

• Support in the communication with internal & external stakeholders (e.g. financial reporting to shareholders, press releases, investor/BoD presentations, etc.).
• Able to develop high-quality written and visual materials
• Ensure consistency and accuracy in all communication documents will be a key responsibility for which a critical eye for detail is required.
• Over time, Destiny has the strong ambition to further professionalise its reporting standards, which could potentially result in additional reporting obligations towards new stakeholders (e.g. investor community, analysts, banks, press, other stakeholders and associations).

Corporate finance

• Assist in preparing M&A transaction documentation such as: funding structure, covenant & leverage checks, impact on shareholder returns, etc.
• Ensure compliance with reporting requirements under our financing & shareholder agreements.
• Prepare presentations and contribute to discussions about investment opportunities (both for internal & external purposes).

Qualifications

• Master in a business, (corporate) finance or accounting-related field;
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience;
• Demonstrated technical skills, modelling capabilities and understanding of finance and accounting principles (e.g. valuation, leverage, investor return models, etc.);
• Ability to create impactful, visually appealing presentations & communication documents;
• Proficient in English (good working knowledge of Dutch & French is a plus);

• Critical thinking, analysis and presentation of data from a global financial perspective;
• Strong project management/communication skills and ability to effectively cope in stressful situations;
