Data Steward

The Data Steward ensures data governance, maintains data quality and data availability. Guards best use of the Commercial Data Platform.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Close collaboration with analytics translators, data scientists, Regional Data Steward and IT.
• Ensures business requirements are met in compliance to regulation by collaborating with all stakeholders.
• Maintains data and manages it according to data properties as required by global governance and data catalogue.
• Administers efficient processes to capture and maintain all metadata Analyzes data and identify risk areas and recommends solutions.
• Monitor metadata and associate modeling of toolsets.
• Document all business findings and ensure compliance to regulation.

WHO YOU ARE

• University degree in the field of Computer Science, Machine Learning, Applied Statistics, or Mathematics.
• At least 3 years of working experience in a Data Science environment.
• Experience in statistical modelling and machine learning techniques.
• Programming experience in at least two of the following languages: R, Python, Scala, SQL.
• Experience in applying data science methods to business problems, advanced analytical and statistical methods in the commercial world.
• Advanced knowledge and work experiences on sales/ sales management/ marketing /market analysis/ target setting / position optimization and reporting system management Strong communication skills.
• Fluent in Dutch or French and English, as well as intercultural skills.
