- Plan and manage resources and demand planning processes in order to ensure the business meets agreed customer service targets at minimum operating cost and optimum stock levels.
- Establish robust demand forecasts by utilizing relevant statistical tools and using market and sales information (including planned sales orders, customer contracts, seasonality data, …) in close collaboration with sales, product management and CMD, in order to optimally support commercial and supply chain operations and provide accurate information to supply chain.
- Conduct analysis of sales forecasts together with sales and finance in order to provide the organization with accurate information with regards to demand topics in the budget cycles.
- Report on forecast accuracy in order to enable all stakeholders to take decisions.
- Reporting on contract deviations
- Coordinate forecast updates and manage demand changes in order to keep commercial and supply chain operations continuously updated.
- Contribute to the S&OP monthly review process by drawing-up demand planning for the assigned product group(s), balancing demand, inventory and production capacity (supply chain) and acquire approval, in order to provide guidance to the activities of the commercial teams.
- Monitor the released compared to the forecasted planning and, where necessary, set priorities and/or alter the plan through consultation, in order to ensure logistical performance of the planning meets the objectives.
- Draw-up requested and unrequested quantitative (what if) analysis of forecasting and realization of assigned supply chain planning in order to provide insight into the consequences, opportunities and bottlenecks for the commercial teams.
- Observe and evaluate bottlenecks and opportunities in demand planning related processes, procedures and/or systems, and ensure implementation of improvements after approval, in close cooperation with the other demand planners, in order to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in assigned demand planning projects within the project management guidelines in order to support business needs and priorities.
- Set-up demand planning process for new business ENPRO
- Master’s degree and 3 – 5 years experience
