Task objectives

Create from scratch the CI/CD stack for an innovative and digital product in a Agile environment

Build, in python, the development environment (dev, staging, preprod, prod)

Anticipate the team scale

Take part in the “think before build” meetings

Prepare for post-MVP DeFi developments

Task steps

In an agile environment, managed in JIRA and Confluence by our PM, you will:

Build

Define and build the CI/CD cloud Architecture

Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes

Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats

Participate in the scrum / Kanban meeting

Challenge the choices / processes

Monitor tool implementation

Help Implement and run automated test / unit test

Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

Create all the related documentation

Run

Deploy updates and fixes

Provide Level 2 technical support (Improve the stack based on team dev feedback)

Perform root cause analysis for production errors

Investigate and resolve technical issues

Challenge the choices / processes

Respect the definition of done and apply the definition of ready (scrum rules)

Create/update all the related documentation

Task deliverables & milestones

Create/update all the related documentation

CI/CD based on Product and dev team specifications

Background:
AREA42 is building a digital solution to help SMEs in growth phase to scale despite limited working capital by optimising their purchase order workflow.

To do so we are looking for an experienced Devops to join our development team to build our CICD.

Location

Brussels, Paris

Remote location possible (this over-rules the stipulation in the Framework contract that “The Freelancer undertakes to provide the Services at the premises of the Customer …”)

Requirements

Desired experience:
Senior profile with experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role:

Proficient with git and git workflows

Good knowledge of Python

Problem-solving attitude

Collaborative team spirit
