What are we looking for?
Are you a passionate, committed, and experienced Product Owner? Can you lead ‘Shop Online’, a business-to-business (B2B) e-purchase platform, for the Atlas Copco Compressor Technique Business Area? If your answer is YES, then you may be the right fit for us!
We have rolled out the eCommerce application towards more than 50 of our companies, spanning well over four thousand users in all parts of the world.
The challenge for you, our new Shop Online Product Owner, will be to harvest on the system by improving the adoption, rolling out the application further, increasing efficiency, and value creation for the business. You will also drive rollout of EDI, and other order automations
As the Product Owner, you will play a key role in defining and driving the roadmap and implementation for Atlas Copco Compressor Technique, together with the Shop Online Group Program, our Divisions, Customer Centers, the Integration Teams, ERP Team(s), etc.

CT-IS delivers services to the Compressor Technique business area of Atlas Copco. You will work closely together with the business. The department mainly operates from the headquarters in Antwerp (Belgium), with teams in the US, Czech Republic, India, and China.

Job description/mission
You are responsible for the lifecycle of Shop Online and customer EDI related projects and act as the application owner, providing second-line support and/or business expertise for Compressor Technique (CT) companies.- You understand the e-Commerce strategies of different divisions within CT and have good insight of sales/marketing related operations, translate into business way of working with Shop Online in CT.
- Manage Shop Online and customer EDI functions including, but not limited to, optimizing process, supporting business users to build necessary knowledge, coordinating roll-outs and new release awareness and hypercare support.
- You analyze business requirements, improve the change request process, write up functional specs and test programs with customer centers.
- Further rollout and optimize shop online and customer EDI, set priorities with related IT service product owners.
- You prepare training materials and organize regular trainings about the Shop online and customer EDI platforms and for example also make e-learning modules available.
- You work together with business stakeholders to define clear KPIs, monitoring the usage rate of shop online and define other relevant KPIs, analyze, propose, and drive improvements.
- You monitor the service level agreement of 3rd party who is handling the tickets of shop online and customer EDI.
- You are responsible for the follow-up of the projects against its stipulated goals, planning, and budget.
- You prepare and present weekly and/or monthly status reports for the project team, Marketing Council, steering committees, and CT-IS management.
Educational requirements
- You have a university degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Informatics or equal by experience.
- You have very strong analytical skills.
- You have an excellent level of English (written and verbal)
- Dutch language skills are considered an asset.
- Project management certifications (Agile, Waterfall) are considered as an asset.
Experience requirements
- You have experience in leading IS/IT projects or products of considerable size and complexity.
- You have experience in e-Commerce and/or ERP systems.
- Experience as an eCommerce lead in an Atlas Copco Customer Center is considered an asset.
- You have experience (or knowledge of) Sales and Marketing processes.

What is the location of this function?
There is a level of flexibility in the location for the successful candidate.
Our main hubs are in Belgium, Czech Republic, India, China and USA.
A host location in one of our customer centers can be discussed.
