Our client is at the forefront of addressing the challenges of the future, including sustainability and carbon reduction. Walker Lovell are partnering with this client who are currently seeking an Engineering Technical Coordinator to join their engineering team. As a key player in the mining and minerals processing industry, they are looking for a seasoned professional to help drive our engineering efforts forward.
This opportunity can be based either in Lyon, France or Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium.
Role and Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
- Provide technical support to the Process Team and format engineering deliverables.
- Oversee industrial installation design aligned with project phases.
- Prepare technical appendices for procurement.
- Assist in selecting external partners.
- Verify external engineering deliverables.
- Propose innovative solutions to project challenges.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial).
- A minimum of 10 years of engineering experience in the (process) industry.
- International exposure is essential.
- Prior management experience is preferred.
- Previous roles might involve Technical Coordination in Process industry Design phases.

- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in designing, engineering, starting up, and commissioning Process Industrial plants.
- Basic knowledge of engineering disciplines and construction.
- Solid grasp of current process industry engineering standards and tools.
