Enterprise Resources Planning Project Manager (Independent Consultant)

For one of our clients, we are currently looking for an experienced ERP Project Manager (independent/freelance consultant).

As an ERP Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the SAP ERP project in coordination with the digital transformation program and the different business stakeholders and partners involved.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Develop detailed project plans, Project Work Bench Structure (WBS), defining steps, necessary resources, and timelines
• Monitor projects in terms of deadlines, costs, and quality, take corrective actions as required
• Manage potential risks and issues by proposing appropriate solutions
• Track Project Assumptions and identify project Dependencies
• Control project scope and raise any deviation
• Provide regular project status
• Track deliverables, work packages, and ensure consistent delivery across workstreams
  

Resource Coordination:

• Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful project execution
• Allocate and manage resources required for each project phase
• Ensure effective communication between all stakeholders
• Work closely with business teams to ensure sufficient availability on the project activities and solve issues and allocations conflicts
  

Quality and Best Practices:

• Ensure adherence to project management best practices based on SAP Activate methodology
• Ensure quality of deliverables in line with industry best practices
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA project management, ideally in an industrial context
• Strong skills in resource management and coordination of multidisciplinary teams
• In-depth knowledge of SAP and IT architecture
• Ability to understand and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Project management certification (PMP, Prince2, SAP Activate) is an asset
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, DevOps, Jira, etc.)
  

Qualifications:

• French , English speaking is a must.
• Proven experience in SAP project management
• Good knowledge of Manufacturing
  
  

This is a role for an independent consultant (freelance). Start date ASAP. Initial contract is for 6 months with possible extensions afterwards. Weekly presence on clients site in Liege area is required.
