You will join the Demand Planning team (part of the IBP planning team) within Cargill Starches and Sweeteners & Texturizers Europe (CSSTE), responsible to establish demand plans for more than 25 products groups within food ingredients (e.g. corn, wheat, fruit peels, sunflowers)
CSTTE includes 4,000 employees, spread over 16 production facilities, 14 offices and three innovation centres and applications labs, further supported by Cargill operations worldwide.
The Supply Chain Planning Demand Planner will help create all demand plans for a group of products with medium planning complexity, including data inputs, statistical forecasting, incorporation of commercial intelligence and new or discontinued products. In this role, you will handle large data sets and collaborate with others to create a robust demand plan, enabling effective financial planning and execution throughout the supply chain. Key Accountabilities
Create and maintain demand plan from statistical forecast through confirmation. Keep process documentation maintained and current. Maintain and handle product history, accurate forecasts and promotional demand. Maintain data relative to demand forecasts, including hierarchy, historical data cleansing, demand sensing data, and forecast model parameters. Participate in integrated business planning, contributing to demand planning metrics targets. Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision while escalating more difficult issues to appropriate staff. Other duties as assigned Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of two years of related work experience
Profound written and oral communication (in English)
Preferred Qualifications
One year of demand planning experience
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience in SAP IBP and SAP ERP
Experienced with Data Visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
Background in statistical modelling
Ability to communicate and provide significant business insights to key stakeholders making sense of complex data recommendations
APICS - ASCM certification
