Join Abbott’s Neuromodulation Division as an Executive Assistant!

Are you ready to take on a dynamic role in a leading global healthcare company? Abbott is seeking an Executive Assistant for our Neuromodulation division, based at our EMEA HQ in Zaventem, Belgium. Role And Responsibilities

  • Calendar management and travel arrangements for the General Manager
  • Plan, organize and coordinate conference calls, on- and off-site meetings and events (including scheduling, coordinating calendars, full logistics: i.e. hotel, transport, catering, audiovisual equipment, etc.)
  • General administration: correspondence, memoranda, reports, minutes, mailings, attendance sheets, contract filing, payment requests, expense claims, assistance with presentations, cost tracking, purchase orders, ordering of office supplies, etc.
  • Handle incoming mail, faxes, telephone calls & route to appropriate person exercising judgment regarding content and priority;
  • Participate in Management and/or regional and executive team debrief meetings, take minutes and distribute, follow-up on action items, wherever appropriate;
  • Support to regional and executive leadership team’s related projects;
  • Collect, summarize and track departmental information, update notice boards (organization charts, publication overview, dashboard)
  • Ensure compliance in reporting product experiences

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree with an administrative, commercial or language background or equivalent by experience
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in an international matrix environment
  • Organizational skills
  • Assertiveness
  • Organize work independently
  • Able to provide full administrative support and to prioritize tasks
  • Stress resistant in highly demanding environment
  • Conduct all aspects of the job respecting sensitivity and confidentiality of data
  • Customer-oriented approach
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Flexible open-minded personality
  • Language skills: fluent in English - any other language is an asset
  • Works according to high ethical standards
  • Computer-literate
