We are looking for an Experienced Payrollerwho works for Belgium based in Uccle, Brussels, Belgium

Your meaningful purpose

As Payroll Officer you are responsible for correct payroll and personnel administration at country level. You are responsible for payroll of workers, employees, and executives. You work closely with your colleagues and the payroll provider and you report to the HR Services Director.

Your daily tasks and responsibilities

  • You will check/manage time records entered by managers through the time and attendance system.
  • You ensure the correct and timely payment of wages of both workers, employees, and executives, and this for the various Belgian sites (PC 111.01, PC 209.00 and PC200.00).
  • You will work closely with the HRS officer for the management of the various insurance files, keeping the group and hospitalization insurance connections up to date, reporting and following up on illnesses/occupational accidents.
  • You handle the annual payroll activities (calculations of vacation pay, year-end bonuses, annual bonus, warrants, stock-options...).
  • You will handle questions from employees and management regarding personnel administration (questions related to employment conditions, leave, absence, time credit, simulation notice ...).
  • You will think proactively about how we can optimize and automate the payroll process and do so in close consultation with the senior HRS administrator.
  • You ensure the correct application of social and fiscal legislation, sector regulations and internal agreements and keep these up to date.

Qualifications

Who you are

Your education and experience:

  • You have a Bachelor degree (or equivalent through experience) and already built up a minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll/HR administration.
  • You have a solid knowledge of Belgian tax rules and regulations.
  • You speak fluently French, Dutch, and English.
  • You have a good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Knowledge of Level 5 (payroll tool Partena) is a plus but not necessary.
