Field Application Specialist

You will join a team of Application Specialists that are committed to bring customer service to a success.

What you will accomplish together with us

• provide application support to customers and sales colleagues on our products and solutions within the portfolio of clinical lab and throughout the complete life-cycle of the customer. (hardware, software, reagents and IT middleware)

• take the lead in customer trainings

• troubleshoot customer issues remotely or on-site

• develop excellent and long-standing customer relationships

• maintain and update records of all field activities on our CRM system

• share excellent communication and presentation skills

• show a flexible attitude, practical and committed to delivering results

• demonstrate problem solving skills

• be capable of working independently and as a part of a team

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Medical Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science or Clinical Laboratory Sciences

• 3 years of previous experience in a clinical laboratory and a moderate to strong interest in IT in a clinical lab environment.

• Ability to learn Roche solutions (i.e. chemistry, immunology, molecular, life sciences, IT solutions), and stay current with industry trends.

• Effective written/verbal communication skills as well as project management experience

• Effective customer consultative skills, which includes advanced scientific knowledge and analysis, exceptional customer engagement, and fostering of strong customer relationships.

• Can work as a field based individual contributor with independence and autonomy and enjoy working in a team

• The ability to interact and communicate positively and effectively with customers.
