A leading international company specializing in the distribution and sales of automotive parts and accessories is seeking an experienced Finance & Administration Manager for its operations in Oost-Vlaanderen. This role involves overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and driving financial performance. You will report directly to the Finance Director.Responsibilities:
- Lead and support accounting teams (Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and Accounts Payable).
- Manage monthly and quarterly financial reporting, ensuring adherence to local and international accounting standards.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external stakeholders (auditors, tax authorities, legal advisors).
- Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Promote best financial practices across the organization.
- Oversee financial integration processes for strategic acquisitions.
- Participate in digital transformation projects.
- Provide financial support to internal business units such as sales, logistics, and supply chain.
- Develop and monitor budgets and provide financial analysis to management.
- Optimize cost structures and improve cash flow management.
- Masters degree in accounting, auditing, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in finance or auditing roles.
- Strong expertise in Belgian GAAP; additional knowledge of US GAAP or international standards is a plus.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across business units.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized, autonomous, and efficient, with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Critical thinking skills with a focus on problem-solving and adaptability to changing environments and priorities.
- Fluency in Dutch and proficiency in French.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of other MS Office tools is an asset.
- Experience with financial software such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly desirable
