FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING

OVERALL MISSION:

You will be part of the Finance team of the Benelux & Nordics region and will have the opportunity to discover the Louis Vuitton retail world in the Brussels based head-office. You will provide operational support to the stores and will gain a deep insight of our network. You will learn how to follow a retail activity with high standards of performance and will enjoy the energy and spirit of a small & dynamic and multitask team.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the Finance and Accounting Team of Benelux & Nordics in charge of 7 countries and give administrative support to the stores of the region

ACCOUNTING:

• Invoice processing and bank reconciliations
• Assisting in various declarations, reporting and closing
• Participation in improvement of standard processes
• Participation in various projects
• Contact with external parties (suppliers, stores, etc)

FINANCE:

• Participate in data control routines, make KPIs reliable, deliver robust indicators to drive site performance, participate in the development and monitoring of action plans
• Performance management and control : gross margin analysis, cost analysis, ...
• In-depth study of certain analyses, follow-up of action plans with the operational staff
• Participation in the closing process and budget process
• Main tools used: SAP ERP, Excel.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Bachelor or master’s degree. Internship agreement from school required. The internship is only possible with the internship agreement.
• Strong command of English, knowledge of at least one regional language is an advantage (French or Nordics languages).
• Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Extensive analytical and advanced organizational skills; ownership.
• Ability to work with deadlines, prioritize multiple tasks without losing the eye for details.
