JOB DESCRIPTION
- Production of month end and year-end accounts
- Ensure the effective and efficient running of the Finance department ensuring best possible relations with internal departments along with production of accurate and timely management information/accounts
- Ensure the provision of an effective, accurate and efficient costing system to help achieve Company margin requirements
- Manage the Company cash flow requirements, including processing and payment of all purchase ledger invoicing (factoring)
- Provide relevant and accurate information to Group Finance
- Liaison with all relevant external bodies like Auditors, Inland Revenue or HMRC
- Company Insurance compliance
- Operational/manufacturing control
- ERP implementation steering
- Cash and Capex management
- Develop and direct the implementation of a strategic business plan for Finance
- Participate in annual strategic planning to define objectives for the coming years for the business in alignment with global and divisional vision
- Lead the teams from a strategic point of view, communicating and motivating staff to achieve objectivesand manage relationships with the Group Functions
QUALIFICATIONS
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager, or similar role and awareness of a PE owned environment
- In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping
- Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Change management and decision-making skills
- Evidence of a range of strategic management functions
- An evidenced track record of successful management and achievement of objectives in an organisation of comparable scope and complexity
- A demonstrable track record of leading and managing teams and delivering outcomes that require collaborative approaches both within the organisation and with external partners
- Strong IT skills
