You will be member of the Finance team who reports to CFO of a specific department

This department is responsible for the creation of controllers in charge of business and projects

for dedicated countries and or customers

Job description

A. Tender Preparation:

-responsible for building and challenging the P&L. Role of advisor on contractual terms, to limit the company’s exposure to all possible risks

B. Contract Follow-up:

- responsible for keeping clean and up-to-date financial files, for updating regularly the project p&I.

- follow up financial items (tax, duties, bonds, commissions, indexation..)

- progress reporting and analyzing

- explaining deviations towards forecasts and budgets.

-Work closely with the installation project teams, responsible of financial items.

-Taking part to all relevant activities within project team, to keep a good overview of the existing risks and opportunities, and their possible impact on the project PnL.

-Should challenge the project team and project manager to get the most accurate picture of the project development.

C. BUSINESS Controlling

- Participation to monthly / quarterly/ yearly closing tasks, and budget and forecast activities

- Elaborate the monthly P&L and KPI in relation with the European shared service in Finance

- Report and explain the monthly, quarterly, yearly closing tasks, budget, forecast activities in the various tools

- Source of proposition to improve existing tools and procedures

- Participation to specific work groups

Requirements

-Strong financial background with at least 5 years’ experience in project and business controlling

- Fluent in French, skilled in English ( German is not mandatory, but considered as an advantage)

- Skilled in Excel

- Good communication skills.

- Likes to work in a team.

- Analytical mind

- Proactive and solution oriented

- Precise, and able to get the necessary overview without being too absorbed by details

- Sense of responsibility

- Positive and ability to contribute to a good working environment

Offer

Freelance/Consultancy project until September 2022 at least.

Work location: Charleroi

Project Location: Germany ( It will not be necessary to travel to Germany as part of this mission)
