About Our Client

Our client is an international FMCG brand, part of a major multinational leading the market, who is actively looking for a Freelance Demand Planner who will be preparing monthly local demand reviews and review forecastings. This mission will be based in Mechelen with option to work from home on a regular basis.

Job Description
  • As Freelance Demand Planner, your responsibilities will include to:
    • Ensure the forecast build-up by customer and products, collecting and challenging forecast assumptions (base, promo, innovations, market trends, media…)
    • Follow up customer orders to readjust forecast accordingly and clean up system
    • Run business intelligence and performance analysis
    • Escalate business opportunities and risks to the business teams and participate actively to business team meetings
    • Deliver the CS&L KPI’s regarding Service level, Forecast error, Forecast Bias, Broker Sales
    • Timely and correct communication of forecast to the Country Fulfillment team to manage the appropriate stock levels

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience in Demand Planning (Senior as well as Medior profiles can be considered for this position)
  • 2 years at least in Supply Chain
  • Experience in FMCG is a big plus
  • Fluency in English and Dutch (French is a plus)
  • Masters APO, SAP
  • Open flexible personality
