工作内容

To support our growing ocean freight department in Antwerp, we are looking for a freight forwarder export. You will be handling the export bookings and are capable to work independently to process the files from A-Z.

Tasks

  • Handle the ocean freight files and process them in the system.
  • Advise/inform your clients about an optimal course of transport.
  • Maintain close contact with customers, shipping companies, customs agents, road hauliers and internal departments.
  • Take care of the ocean freight file and prepare the necessary export, transport and customs documentation.

Profile

As a positive-minded person, you are/have...

  • An involved and enthusiastic person and can work autonomously as in a team.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a freight forwarder, preferably in the field of export.
  • Use your professionalism and knowledge to handle ocean freight files correctly and accurately.
  • Customer service experience and can handle problems in a customer-friendly way.
  • Good language skills, with a very good knowledge of Dutch and English.

You will be working from our Antwerp Ocean Freight office located Nieuwelandenweg, 2030 Antwerp.
