Job Description

As GaN Senior R&D Program Manager:

  • You will take the lead of the development and qualification of new GaN Technologies.
  • You will drive, motivate and manage a cross-functional project team of R&D professionals to design new GaN process- and device- architectures, to integrate those into a competitive market-leading technology fulfilling the needs of our customers
  • You will qualify the GaN technologies to the highest (automotive) standards
  • You will build project plans and set targets (technical deliverables, timeline, budget), and will be accountable for executing and achieving these
  • You will report to the CTO

Requirements

As GaN Senior R&D Program Manager:

  • You are a MSc or PhD in the domain of semiconductor devices and technologies. Know-how and hands-on experience with GaN technologies and devices is an important asset.
  • You have a proven track record in R&D project management, specifically in leading semiconductor development programs, and in managing a cross-functional team of professionals. Knowledge and experience in lean-agile project methods is a key asset.
  • You are process-oriented, analytical & structured, and strongly data/facts-driven.
  • You are a passionate, results- and quality- driven professional with a ‘get-it-done’ problem solving attitude (‘start-up mindset and culture’).
  • You are a strong team leader and team player, fully committed, responsible and accountable for your team and project results (technical, milestones, cost). You have proven people-mgmt skills, capable to motivate and enthuse your team members to constantly grow and exceed expectations.
  • You are a good communicator, and network well with your stakeholders, customers, and partners.
  • You embrace core values on respect and human equality (race, gender, …), take initiative and are outspoken and persistent, but with respect for other opinions.
  • You are fluent in English.
