Global Process Owner – Transportation - Antwerp - 12-Months

Responsibilities:
Process improvement: Identifying risks, inefficiencies and bottlenecks in workflows and implementing solutions and mitigations to improve efficiency in alignment with business
Project support: Being involved in projects in the activity area, provide process expertise support
Document management: Collect and analyse all existing transportation and logistics process documentation and come-up, configure and structure a document management system as standard solution
Workflow Analysis: Analysing, mapping and documenting processes. Identify areas for enhancement, optimisation and automation
Technology support: Support digitisation initiatives with process design and development
SME: Act as a Subject Matter Expert, provide best practices and innovative solutions in software and operative solutions
Bring alignment with key stakeholders in BU’s on the process landscape
Compliance: ensuring that all operations comply with industry regulations and safety standards
Responsible at global level for all aspects of the end-to-end process and design of best-in-class, efficient and effective end-to-end processes

Requirements:
Master degree (economics, sciences, …) or equivalent by experience
Substantial professional experience in logistic and transportations ( >10 years) Knowledge of logistics and transportation procurement is a nice to have
Experience working for a large, diverse multinational company is preferred
Deep understanding and knowledge of business process needs/mapping/documentation
Minimum 5 years of experience in process design, optimisation, efficiency programs and project management
Fluent in English. Knowledge of other languages is an asset
Sound IT knowledge and affinity. Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
