BMT Group - Division Industry manufactures high value components for various global markets as compressors, agriculture and construction equipment, energy processing industries, medical equipment and semiconductor prismatic parts. Products are being made at one of their worldwide operations with a high focus on vertical integrated manufacturing. Global industry leading customers rely on them for their applications in most demanding environments.
Position
- As a Global Sales Manager, you identify for the allocated markets new opportunities at existing or new clients. You manage the sales, profitability and growth ambitions of customers and markets in an international setting.
- As a relationship builder you are in contact with all international key players who enable you to offer support and advise focused on achieving positive results.
- As an ambassador, you build long-term relationships with external parties.
- As a networker you are the professional who follows the trends, both economically and technologically, through contacts in the industrial world.
- As a person with a broad business mindset, you have a solid understanding of cost (calculations), financial figures & P&L.
- As an expert in the field, you have a good understanding of the current market conditions & competitors and know how to place products in the market and which channels are appropriate.
- As a professional, you build a broad product knowledge and you are aware of the applicability of: legal, statutory, regulatory, environmental & safety requirements.
- You report directly to the Vice President Global Sales.
Profile
- You are a professional, with a positive mindset and leadership skills.
- You are preferably a master with a high technical-intellectual curiosity.
- You have at least 5, preferably 10 years of experience in a technical sales position in an international industrial environment.
- You are a strategic thinker with operational mindset.
- You are able to negotiate at different levels.
- You are customer-oriented, sales-driven and you maintain a good balance between commercial and technical skills.
- You act as a linking pin and have a positive impact on the team. You are driven by professional honesty towards the different departments and customers.
- You have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English.
