We are a fast growing company where people are the most valuable asset. To support our continuous growth and reinforce our Finance team we are looking for a Group Working Capital Manager.

The Group Working Capital Manager, part of the group finance team ensures that the Ontex group cash flow is sufficient to satisfy both short term debt obligations and operating expenses, through support of company strategy and work together with different divisions to optimize working capital and underlying processes.

Main responsibilities and key tasks
  • Understand the specific needs for each of the Divisions in order to evaluate the working capital requirements
  • Support Finance, business divisions and sales to keep the right focus on working capital
  • Drive the working capital budget process and set targets in collaboration with divisional management
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and analysis in order to anticipate sufficient cash flow
  • Challenge and monitor inventory budget, forecasts and actual performance in order to ensure optimal investment in inventory
  • Define the group credit policy, procedures and related processes in order to minimize credit risk and maximize profitable sales
  • Provide guidance and support to local credit controllers, customer service and commercial departments, in order to drive efficient credit management process
  • Monitor the factoring and reverse factoring supply chain finance activities
  • Manage relationships with financial services providers (factoring, reverse factoring, credit insurance, company information, collection agencies) in order to ensure appropriate tools to manage the working capital
  • Recommend and implement working capital process improvements
  • Drive ad-hoc projects to optimize working capital
  • Report on working capital performance and escalate possible deviations from targets in order to undertake appropriate actions
Job requirements
  • Master’s degree in Finance and accounting
  • 5 years relevant experience in finance functions
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Good understanding of financial analysis and credit risk in a multinational environment
  • Good understanding of order-to-cash and procurement-to-pay process
  • Project management experience
  • Fluent in English
  • Problem-solving and analytical ability
  • Highly self-motivated and ability to work independently
  • Good influencing skills
