Tasks
  • Responsible for a timely, qualitative and quantitative production and delivery of our products at the right price and according to the agreed safety objectives.
  • Responsible for leading and coordinating the production activities with the aim of realizing production plans, directing cost reduction projects, achieving production targets, using the methodologies according to the LSW (Leader Standard Work), as well as the CBS (Continental Business Systems) methods.
  • Planning and communicating the production strategy to production teamleaders and teams.
Qualifications
  • Implementing company and factory standards (including ESD guidelines, technical purity, 5S, JIDOKA, …).
  • Ensuring on-time production as well as testing customer specific products with correct quality and cost:
  • Planning/controlling costs versus budget;
  • Planning/controlling resources (equipment, people, material);
  • Reducing production costs by properly managing material and optimizing maintenance;
  • Set up/coordinate improvement groups;
  • Responsible for productivity/process efficiency and continuous improvement (Lean)
  • Stimulating ESH activities in the workplace;
  • Monitoring information and deviations;
  • Lead corrective, problem-solving actions for structural problems and systematic errors.
  • Leading and conducting audits.
  • Provide timely, qualitative and efficient reporting and communication to all stakeholders.
  • Promote an improvement, quality and change culture.
  • Oversee, support and monitor new product launches.
  • Applying CBS principles and methods to new launches and serial production.
  • Responsible for continuous improvement and • implementation of LEAN principles.
  • Ensure sustainable processes and equipment (e.g. Cpk, FPY, OEE)
