We’re thrilled to announce an opportunity for an individual to spearhead our International People Services team as the Head Regional EO of People Services. Working in partnership with the International People Services team and the Head of Regional EO Business Partnering, the Head Regional EO of People Services role will lead a team of People Country Managers, collaborating across the EO Regional countries to provide top-tier support of People issues and processes. Responsible for Regional EO employee services and experience including all People Processes and Operations, People Advisory, Payroll and Employee Relations. This role will lead and develop the People team to deliver optimum People Services and monitor the effectiveness of these.

Your new role
  • Provide direction and coach our People Country Managers, guiding them to collaborate effectively with People Business Partner’s and Centre of Excellences (COE’s). Your goal: supporting our People Country Managers to support our business managers on People issues and ensuring employees understand the intricacies of People policies across multiple locations
  • Build and nurture relationships with external providers and peers to monitor People Advisory and People Operations trends and solutions
  • Being the voice of the Regional EO teams, being consistent where possible allowing for local legislative/cultural differences. Enhance operational performance through a blend of intuition and data. Your people leadership will not only rely on ‘feel’ but also draw actionable insights from data to drive excellence
  • Oversee the continuous improvement of EO Region People Services delivered to the business to ensure the function continues to develop and best support business objectives
  • Oversight of local ER issues managed by People Country Managers, partnering with Legal/ER to ensure compliance with statutory obligations
  • Accountable for the seamless delivery of critical payroll services within Regional EO
  • Ensure SA/NV and Europe People team complies with all regulatory and reporting obligations across locations.
  • Manage relationships with social partners, fostering a harmonious and compliant working environment.
  • Ensure that all People Risk, and Controls and Governance requirements are in place in the different countries and can be demonstrated
  • Lead and contribute to change management initiatives, playing a pivotal role in identifying and addressing people issues during design and implementation. Collaborate with COEs within the People Function and other departments, like procurement, to ensure seamless transitions

About You
  • Proven experience leading People Operational/Service Delivery teams across multiple jurisdictions Fluent in English and other European languages, you navigate the nuances of communication effortlessly
  • Leadership skills to lead multi skilled resources (directly and indirectly) in order to get the best from them and ensure successful outcomes
  • Experience working in a matrix organisation working with multiple stakeholders
  • Managing stakeholder relationships in an international global organization is second nature to you, especially across the diverse landscape of Europe.
  • A comprehensive knowledge of European labor law and employment regulations, coupled with understanding of local People practices.
  • Proven experience of identifying and implementing People initiatives
  • Your experience spans multiple countries, and you’re well-versed in all aspects of People processes, from Payroll to Employee Relations and Policies.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and lead multiple projects simultaneously ensuring successful implementation every time.
