Through the combined acquisitions of CellPoint and AboundBio, we are propelling ourselves into next-generation cell therapies. CellPoint brings a novel, decentralized point-of-care cell therapy manufacturing model, which has the potential to offer efficient, 7-day time to treatment and avoids complex logistics, resulting in potential better patient outcomes and broader access. AboundBio’s cutting-edge fully human antibody-based platform provides access to a research engine for next generation multi-targeting CAR-Ts that have the potential to deliver deeper and durable clinical responses and that will be developed using CellPoint’s decentralized model.Aside from cell-therapies we are equally interested in other modalitites, both small molecules and biologics, to treat cancer, auto-immune and chronic inflammatory diseases. Our goal is to develop and commercialize best in class medicines that treat diseases with large unmet medical need and ensure access to all patients in need.We are looking for a Head of Transactions. The location of this role is flexible and can be based in any of our European locations.Scope of the jobAs Head of Transactions, you make it happen by leading negotiations and taking responsibility structuring, negotiating, and closing transactions.Your roleYou work closely together with our Search & Evaluation team regarding in-licensing opportunities, research collaborations, option agreements, commercial partnerships, and others. You are the architect of a deal. You work closely with colleagues to develop the business case and lead the negotiation processes to closure, whereas our Search & Evaluation representatives will be responsible for technical due diligence. You seek out and generate data required to build robust business cases that are aligned with insights generated during the due diligence. You create, own and present content for investment opportunities to the leadership team and executive committee. You ensure a smooth transition of business opportunities to operational activities once a deal is closed.

• Who are you?
• Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Business, Law or related area and strong business acumen
• Minimum of 10 years of Business Development experience, in pharma/biotech industry (experience with oncology is a plus)
• Measurable track record in negotiating and closing value-creation deals (out- and in-licensing) in the biopharma space, strong deal sheet
• A well-established commercial/academic network is strongly preferred
• Strong ability to build and nurture relationships with multiple external and internal parties
