Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Specialist

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health and Safety Management, Occupational or equivalent departments of a reputable university
  • Minimum three years prior experience in an HSE role
  • Technical knowledge experience with HSE Management systems such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English (additional language is preferred)
  • Working experience in EU countries is preferred
  • Excellent command of MS Office applications
  • Must have the ability to complete assigned tasks with a minimum of supervision
  • No restrictions for domestic and international travel
  • Clear in communicating thoughts and ideas
  • Fluency in Turkish is required

Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines.

· Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety.

· Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention.

· Monitor compliance with policies and laws by reviewing employee workplace activities and operations.

· Execute risk reduction activities including internal audit, risk assessment, risk reduction

· Follow and actively participate in all HSE practices and procedures in plants where our projects take place

· Assist onsite HSE training matrix for employees, new hires, visitors, and contractors
