Act as a prime HR within the region to ensure an effective and efficient delivery of strategy, HR programs, services and act as a local point of contact This role will report to the EMEA HR Director and will be responsible to deliver local HR support to managers and employees located in the Headquarter Kortrijk.Main Accountabilities
- Follow up on employee engagement, employer & employee branding initiatives and activities at the country/region level in cooperation with Center of Expertise where applicableClosely work together with the Global HR Business Partner of the defined Business Units and support in translating global business needs into local HR action plans as well as deliveries
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Expertise (CoE) to create and deploy innovative HR solutions
- Deliver HR programs and solutions locally/ in business group and provide feedback to CoE and HR team
- Establish/monitor the HR events throughout the year and coach the business leaders / key talents (e.g. advise employees on career development, perform coaching and monitoring,…)
- Participate and collaborate with Global HR Management team to
- Agree on common innovation agenda
- Agree on the people agenda through the region/BU’s
- Leverage experience/practices across the region/BU’s
- Monitor and stimulate organization performance

- A Master degree in a relevant discipline (human resources, social sciences, business management) or equivalent combination of appropriate qualifications and experience
- First experience in human resources support role
- Proven experience in operational HR Management
- Possesses integrity and trust, ethics and values and a drive for result
- Able to set priorities, excellent organizing, planning and problem solving skills
- Able to build a trustful partnership with internal customers through excellent customer focus, partnership skills & delivery orientation
- Excellent communication skills, with experience in influencing others with well thought out recommendations, as well as strong presentations skills and ability to present to a wide range of audiences
- Listening and negotiating qualities
- Conflict management skills
- Familiar with a minimum of two different HR specialities (staffing, payroll, HRIS, training, organisation development, business partner, …)
