A global leader company in the packaging industry, based in Lommel, is looking for a HSE Manager to support the Health and Safety team. This new position is available in the perspective of a management and team restructuring to ensure the company’s ambition to be the leading business in sustainable plastics within the circular economy.

As HSE Manager, Some Of Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Making the risk analysis of the plant and advising the necessary stakeholders on that respect,
  • Working together with the management team in order to create awareness of the HSE procedures,
  • Creating and organizing trainings for staff members in order to cascade down this awareness,
  • Managing the HSE procedures,
  • Liaising with the necessary third parties- insurance companies, subcontractors and necessary bodies in order to strengthen the approach of HSE.
About You
  • You hold a bachelor’s or a master’s degree in technical fields,
  • You have several years relevant experience as HSE Manager in the chemical & food - or related. Industries are required. Prevention Level 1 certification is a must,
  • You are fluent in English and Dutch,
  • You have a strategic mindset and you are procedure oriented,
  • You are able to work transversely with all teams.
